Administered servers, workstations, and telecommunications systems for business-critical and guest applications, maintained and expanded voice and data networks, generated schematics and documentation, provided voice and data support for guests and employees, and served as a resource for auxiliary audiovisual services. Major projects included:
  • Site analysis, implementation strategy, and installation of a 600-pair voice and data cross-connect (2008)
  • Integration of a WLAN across the main 40-acre campus, including site evaluation, planning, and installation (2007)
  • Voice and data wiring for a dormitory renovation (2007)
  • Installation of temperature monitoring system for a three-room industrial refrigerator (2007)
  • Various voice and data cable installations (2007-08)
  • Installation of ISDN lines (2007)
  • Site investigation and creation of a highly detailed infrastructure manual for the Center's voice and data systems (2006)
Also administered Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, Terminal Server, IIS, and Windows file servers, as well as voicemail, switches, firewalls, and an Avaya PBX consisting of 500 analog, digital, and VoIP extensions.

Before Cross-Connect Installation In August 2008, I installed this 600-pair cross-connect at the hub of Airlie's main campus. This project used a quarter-mile of new wire, and affected voice and data connectivity in the majority of campus buildings.

I worked 28 hours in the first 32 hours after disconnect in order to get all critical systems back online. I completed the last connection by hour 48.
